Video production in Eugene, Oregon

From brief to final cut — stories that drive results.

We concept, shoot, and cut your video from scratch — so you publish a story that earns attention and moves audiences to act.

Most productions fail before cameras roll.

The problem isn't equipment. It's not lighting or lenses or resolution. The problem is no one decided what the video needs to say — and to whom — before showing up on set.

Production without editorial thinking is expensive documentation. Hours of footage, no throughline. Beautiful shots that don't connect. A hard drive full of potential that never converts.

We don't show up and start shooting. We show up knowing what the final cut needs to feel like — and we reverse-engineer every setup, every angle, every interview question to serve that outcome.

Most production companies think like directors. We think like editors. That's the difference between footage and a story.

What we do

Brief to concept. Direction on set.
Edit suite mastery.

Pre-Production

Structure. Pacing. A single clear emotional through-line. We shape raw footage into deliberate stories — every cut a decision, never a default.

On-set Direction

Set the mood. Match the moment. Consistent, cinematic color that makes footage feel finished and intentional.

Video Editing

Clean, branded text that orients your audience without pulling them out of the story. Invisible when done right.

Titles & Motion Graphics

Animated elements that clarify, emphasize, and hold attention — from kinetic text to composited visuals. If the audience notices the effect, it didn't work.

Sound & Mixing

Dialogue. Music. Atmosphere. We balance and shape every layer so the audience feels the story, not just watches it.

Royalty-free Stock

Every project includes premium licensed music and stock footage — no extra charges, no licensing headaches.

Who is this for

For OREGON businesses ready to publish:

You know video matters. You just don't know where to start.

No footage. No crew. No storyboard. That's fine. You bring the goal — we bring the concept, the camera, and the cut. Whether you're in Eugene, Springfield, or anywhere in Oregon, we handle every step.

Phone footage and free templates  won't get you any further.

Your audience can tell the difference between content and storytelling. We replace the guesswork with broadcast-quality production — deliberate, focused, built to convert.

FAQs

Good questions deserve straight answers.

We've never produced a video before. Is that a problem?

The opposite. We're built for this. Most of our production clients come with a goal, not a plan. The planning is our job. You focus on your message — we handle everything between the idea and the final file.

What if our project needs something not listed here?

That's what Tailored is for. Motion graphics, VFX, soundscaping, multi-day shoots, campaign-level output — we scope it to the goal, not to a menu. Tell us what you need. We'll build it.

What equipment do you use?

Whatever is right for the story. That could be professional cinema cameras, multi-camera setups, wireless audio, and lighting rigs scaled to the project, or simply an iPhone. The gear serves the story — not the other way around. We'll spec the loadout during pre-production based on what the shoot demands.

What's the difference between Shooting and Producing?

Shooting is production only — we capture the footage and hand you organized raw materials for your own editor. Producing is the full story — concept through camera through cut, delivered ready to publish.

Can you shoot on location anywhere in Oregon?

Yes. We're headquartered in Eugene, but we regularly shoot across Lane County, the Willamette Valley, Portland, Bend, and beyond. Travel is built into the process — not tacked on as a surprise.

Do we need to write a script or creative brief first?

No. A goal and a gut feeling. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish and who needs to see it. We build the concept, the structure, and the creative direction from there.

Do we need to write a script or creative brief first?

No. A goal and a gut feeling. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish and who needs to see it. We build the concept, the structure, and the creative direction from there.

What if we already have some footage?

Then you might not need full production. We offer post-production services for existing footage at a different rate. If your footage needs supplemental shooting, we can scope a hybrid engagement.

What does "full production" actually include?

Everything. Concept development, pre-production planning, on-set direction, multi-camera shooting, editing, color, sound, titles, and delivery. One team. One process. One invoice.

Where is your studio located?

Cutpoint Studio is based in Eugene, Oregon. Whether you need a full video production crew in Lane County or a post-production partner you can ship footage to from anywhere in Oregon, we're set up for both.

Do you only work with clients in Eugene?

We're headquartered in Eugene, Oregon and most of our clients are in Lane County — Eugene, Springfield, Cottage Grove, and surrounding areas. But we regularly work with businesses across the Willamette Valley, Portland, Bend, and throughout Oregon. Remote collaboration is built into our process, so distance is never a barrier to the work.

Is this right for small businesses?

Yes. Professional storytelling isn't reserved for brands with broadcast budgets. Flat-rate pricing exists specifically to make it accessible. What matters isn't your size — it's whether your message deserves to be told well. If it does, we're a fit.

Still have questions?

You know what to do.
